In order to make known the most dynamic entrepreneurs in the Peruvian innovation ecosystem, the E|100 has been launched for the first time in the country. This is an open call, which also works in the United States and Mexico, so that anyone can name online a maximum of 15 candidates who have the potential to run a global company in the next three years.

e|100

The first crowdsourced Top Entrepreneur List

This is an initiative promoted by Cofide and Alta Experiential Learning. In this, all the nominees will receive an email to choose among them who will be included in the top 100.

Luis Terrones, manager of entrepreneurship in Cofide, says that with the E | 100 we want to promote the culture of innovation, that the cases of these hundred refer to encourage a greater flow of good projects in sight so that there is a Venture capital industry that invests in them.

"The success of an ecosystem also depends on how closely one company is related to others, how much they share, know each other and value," says Terrones.

The list of the hundred does not seek to establish an order that privileges the most voted over the others. "The idea is to make this call once a year and spread it by various means, so that people always aspire to enter this list," he adds.

ACCESS TO CAPITAL

Cofide, together with Alta Experiential Learning, aims to establish in the country new models of access to capital that invest in the innovations of start-ups companies.

"For now there are not enough projects to invest in. But we are willing to establish a fund, with money that Cofide handles, with resources from multilateral entities and also with private funds from abroad, "says Luis Terrones.
